"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax-- Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings."

I'd like to tell you that I'm bright and intelligent, but I can't, cos I'm not. So, with no further ado- hers the blog of an ordinary human of average intelligence, average looks and extraordinary laziness.
Whose world begins and ends with her nephew Aryan.

Welcome to 400ml. And welcome to my world. Welcome to India and all about this Indian. I began this blog as a place to rave and rant. Somewhere along the way I made some friends, who taught me that I can use it for something better, something less selfish. So here I am, hoping you leave here with a bit more than you came here with.

Update: Ma

The tubes in her throat have been removed this morning - by the time I visit her this evening she should be able to talk. Looks like she's got another couple of days in the ICU and then she's released to the general ward!!

great news, barnita! so glad, to hear that!

to your reply ("my boss is the best - he's told me to take as many days off work as required and if I can I'll work from home. Its real good of him to be so understanding.")

wow - that's more worth than he knows, i guess

reminds me of a dear friend of mine. He was forced not to care for his father but to accompany him on the last journey - and his boss also waited patiently and gave him that unbelievably important time with the father. The boss never regretted it - i often pondered about that...

how easy it is to behave human - and how satisfying for both parts...

so i am so glad to hear that your boss is so wise - and that you are both able to care for your mother and live your life...

wish you and her all the best - she shall get well soon
